A Revolutionary Airflow Technology of KOACH

The secret of the technology that creates a clean air environment despite the absence of a ceiling and a wall lies in the airflows blown out by the KOACH's two units of push hoods and the push-push mechanism that makes them collide at the middle position between these units.
The airflow that is blown off by the push hood of the KOACH is the airflow in which the speed and direction of it are all adjusted, thus called "the uniformed laminar airflow having the same vector." It has the following features.

  • High ability to catch and carry airborne particles (contaminants)
  • Tends to go back to the original path after hitting an object (highly resilient)
  • Slow and stable airflow: you do not feel it on your skin. It does not affect measurement.

Because airflows, blown off by the two opposing push hoods, collide with each other at the center, an airflow that is directed toward the outside of the clean air zone, is always formed. This outgoing airflow restricts the induction of surrounding air and make it possible to form a clean air zone despite the absence of a ceiling and a wall.

An Innovative Filter Technology of KOACH

The KOACH is equipped with an ultra-high performance filter "FERENA" that KOKEN succeeded in mass-producing as filter units for the first time in the world using the electrospinning method.
FERENA has the same filtering efficiency as ULPA filter while reducing the pressure loss to the same level as HEPA filter. With this FERENA, it is possible to create an ISO Class 1 super clean air environment with evergy saving without imposing an extra load on the fan.
